Product Introduction
Ciprofloxacin powder is a synthetic third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic, known for its broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. It exhibits significantly stronger bactericidal activity—2 to 4 times more potent—than norfloxacin and enoxacin against a wide range of bacterial strains. As an advanced broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, ciprofloxacin offers low toxicity, excellent tissue penetration, low blood concentration, reduced likelihood of resistance development, and rapid distribution throughout body tissues and organs.

Product Function
Ciprofloxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone-class antibiotic, featuring powerful and wide-ranging antibacterial effects.
It is highly effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with improved performance against commonly occurring resistant strains.
The compound demonstrates strong therapeutic outcomes against atypical pathogens, including infections caused by Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and Legionella (notably Legionella pneumonia).
Ciprofloxacin formulations are suitable for treating infections within the central nervous system due to their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier.
The active pharmaceutical ingredient can serve as a secondary treatment option for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections, used in combination therapies where first-line drugs are ineffective.
Application
- Utilized in human medicine for broad-spectrum antibacterial treatment
- Employed in veterinary medicine for combating bacterial infections in animals
